Eliot Management Group Opens New Location in Portland, Oregon
Salt Lake City, Utah, August 8, 2001 -
The Eliot Management Group today announces the opening of a branch office in Portland, Oregon. The new office will serve Portland and the surrounding area and will be an operational hub for the Eliot Management Group in Oregon. The office will provide sales, service, and support for Eliot Management Group’s credit card and electronic payment processing services. Welby Evangelista, Vice President of Business Development, states, “Our goal for establishing an office in Portland is to show merchants in the Oregon market our dedication to providing the best combination of price and service by committing to office space that will house up to 15 sales and service personnel.
Most of our competitors in the area are operating on a “remote” basis. Many are independent representatives who work from a home office or a bank branch and handle other fiduciary products other than credit card processing service. Our approach is unique in that we focus only in providing merchant services and operate from a professional office environment. We are fully dedicated to servicing our customers’ credit card processing needs.” The office expansion is part of the Eliot Management Group’s “On-market” service approach that began on August 20, 1999. The goal of the program is to secure office space in all EMG markets where EMG personnel can provide comprehensive sales and servicing to clients and future clients in the area.
